Davis Furniture company took over the restoration of our pews on short notice, after another installer could not fulfill the order.  Even with half the time, they were able to deliver the pews on time and under the other installer's bid.  On top of that, they are amazing people with which to work!

The old seatbacks of the pews were soft-wood with an oak veneer.  They had a beautiful contour but the wood took a lot of damage over the past 100 years and, after the cleaning from the fire, they needed to be replaced.  The endcaps, however, were built to stand the test of time and were sanded down to look like new.  The seats between are now white oak hardwood and will hold up for more than another 100+ years.
